How to install Office 365

Pfeiffer offers the Office 365 suite to all student, faculty, and staff for no charge. To install Office 365, please follow the instructions below.

  1. Go to office.com
  2. Click Sign in
  3. On the Sign in screen, enter (or choose) your Pfeiffer email address
  4. Click Next
  5. Enter your Pfeiffer username and password
  6. Click Sign in
  7. In the upper right hand corner, click Install Office. You will be presented with two options:
    1. Office 365 apps: Download the full set of popular Office titles: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and OneNote. 
    2. Other install options: This takes you to your My account page, where you can choose to Install Office, review the other apps available in you subscription, and review your authorized devices.
  1. Double-click the downloaded installation file
  2. Follow the onscreen prompts, and sign in with your Pfeiffer email address and Pfeiffer username and password when asked
